Background

Jim Loy established Loy Surveys Ltd in 1985. In his position as Managing Director he has driven the company forward ever since. The company quickly established its reputation through an ability to complete contracts on time to the required standard at competitive prices.

At Loy Surveys we only use the most up to date and sophisticated technology, guaranteeing customers cost effectiveness, quality and accuracy. To ensure our customers gain maximum benefit from technology, Jim Loy, regularly attends exhibitions and conferences looking for ways to improve and extend the range of services.

Loy employ a dedicated staff of twenty people at their offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Our size enables us to compete on equal terms with both large and small firms. At Loy Surveys we like to think of ourselves as big enough to matter and at the same time small enough to care.

We operate throughout Scotland, the UK and overseas, mobilising within one week and in many cases quicker.

We have completed over 9,000+ surveys in 23 years for our diverse 1,500+ customer list which includes contractors, architects, engineers, local authorities, estate developers, oil companies, utilities and central government agencies and departments.
